It can be a scary experience walking into a new church for the first time. We want to welcome you to the Waianae Baptist ‘Ohana and would love to get to know you!

What to expect

Sunday mornings start with a 15 minute group prayer time in the sanctuary at 8:45am. At 9am we begin our group bible studies. These are optional classes to help you deepen your faith and understanding in God’s Word. There are classes for all ages and everyone is welcome!

At 10:30am we begin our Worship Service in the main sanctuary. The Worship Service begins welcoming and greeting eachother. The purpose of this is to foster connection and community. We then move to a time of praise and song led by our Worship Team. Pastor Brooks then delivers a message from the bible. After the message, we sing a Hymn of Invitation. The purpose of this hymn is to speak spiritually to the heart of the Christian and the unsaved. This time is an invitation to the unsaved to come forward and publicly accept the Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and for believers to declare their commitment to Jesus. The service ends with announcements and an encouraging scripture verse.
