Pastor Brooks has had over 40 years in Christian ministry, including: leading and pastoring inner-city church ministries, mobilizing and training volunteers and interns to lead ministries, creation of new hot lunch program for 100 seniors daily, directing children’s programs and food pantry, starting a new church in Kobe Japan, developing a national strategy, planning and recruitment, supervision and logistics for a team of 15 missionaries, and serving on the International Mission Board SBC. Brooks has also served as Board member for the Columbus Coalition for the Homeless, Board member of the Pathfinder Halfway House and Missionary in Residence for the Georgia Baptist Convention. He also served as Chaplain for the Emergency Room/Burn Unit at Baltimore City Hospital, Maryland. Pastor Brooks has also overseen the creation of Bible classes at homes and community centers. Expanded a hunger ministry from 20K meals per year to 140K per year.

As of recent, Pastor Brooks has created new Christian ministries including: an Eye Clinic, Pregnancy Clinic, Legal Clinic, Urgent Care, Jobs programs, and an Aids Clinic, and enlarged a Dental Clinic, recruiting and training more than 600 new volunteers in mission for Christ, and building out new church plants including Laotian worship.

Pastor Brook’s wife, Janet is an accomplished Christian author and has worked with Christian Women’s Job Corps, in Georgia. Ms. Janet Brooks takes her relationship with Jesus Christ, her God very seriously, spending hours in the Word, studying, and praying, and communicating with Him, and worshiping Him. Janet has shared her God with ladies behind prison doors on a regular basis and has encouraged others to join her in serving women and leading them to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Both Pastor Brooks and Janet have a heart for Christ and a heart in serving and helping and leading others in finding Christ and in trusting God for answers and direction.

As Pastor Brooks has said, “God is in control even in our crisis, we just need to allow God to be God and TRUST Him”.
